DJ NUMARK SUPPORT SLOT - January 3rd @ Electric Light Hotel
Quick note to let you know we will be opening up for Numark (of Jurassic 5 fame) this Saturday night!
Jurassic 5's legendary turntablist DJ Numark drops into the Electric Light Hotel for an intimate performance not to be missed this Saturday Jan 3rd. Part mashup turntablist set, part TOY SET. To quote the man himself... "My performance consists of two parts, the dj turntablist part and a second part involving a bunch of Kids toys, gadgets and drum machines. I use an Mpc as my cue point controller for both shows. I guess I’d call the DJ set aspect a DJ set and the Toy set a DJ set / performance. I think I bring a performance quality to both acpects though."
Spread over the cocktail bar and beer garden this will be a limited capacity event so don't delay. Tickets $27+bf
Supports: A Devil Amongst The Tailors, Hemilove, Denorthwode, Kosa Nostra

NOVEMBER UPDATE
There's a bit to get through this time round so hold-tight! First up, A Devil Amongst The Tailors have returned to the practice room after a mini-hiatus as AD & J-Bones hit the road for a 5-week odyssey through Malaysia, Sri Lanka and India. Despite copping the standard dose of Delhi-belly, the boys powered on seeing as much as possible - including a cameo appearance in the upcoming big-budget Bollywood film - 'Do Knot Disturb', starring Miss Universe 2000. Despite the whirlwind trip they managed to spread the ADATT sound across the globe... as well as picking up some some local music for potential sampling and future beats! Anyway, enough travel talk and onto more important things!
To celebrate the return we thought it best to let you know about 2 very special gigs we'll be playing in December...

Onto some more exciting news, we have been collectively putting the finishing touches on a new studio, with the last of the sound-proofing going in this week. To coincide with this we have slowly begun working on some new material which we will be building on over the coming months. With a load of fresh beats accumulating we cannot wait to get back into the studio to record... but all in good time!
To celebrate the start of summer, ADATT will be rocking the live stage at this years Lilka Festival, held on a farm near Meningie, SA. For more info bout the event take your pick from the official site, the Lilka facebook page or the Lilka myspace page.
For those in Tassie, or indeed those who like to listen online, be sure to lock it in on Wednesday 10th September for an interview with Edge Radio's Microphone Check Hip Hop Show from 8pm AEST.
SEPTEMBER UPDATE - RADIO PLAY / NEW MYSPACE LAYOUT
Thought I better drop a quick word from ADATT-land to keep you up to date.
First of all, a massive thank you goes to Fresh FM here in ADL for spinning our track 'Summertime' to try and bring on those warm days... somehow there is a mysterious force at work where the more the track gets played on air... the warmer the weather gets! Hmmm....
So in other news, we finally got our myspace layout spruced up with many thanks to Drake @ Drake Designs.
Check out our new layout here.
And if your in the need for a new, competitively priced layout, head over to my man Drake here. Props to Drake for some great work.
We are currently sussing out some tour dates for summer too so keep your eyes and ears out if you're living in the eastern states. Our next shows are gonna be a little diff from the past, possibly mixing it up with some live drums to go with the MPC4000... as well as J-Bones rocking the low-end on his new Fender Jazz Bass.
So that's about it for now... 'til next time, please keep requesting our tracks across the land.
Much love,

Big ups to all those who braved a cold Adelaide night to come check out the show. Apologies for us hiitin the stage so late, but it was out of our hands and I guess these things can happen. We want to thank Gordon and all involved with putting on these shows around town, it's been a pleasure being involved in something that is purely about promoting SA music!
So onto the future... we are gonna offset our late start on Saturday by rocking a 5.30pm set instore at Big Star Records on August 13th.
It's a free show and considering it's a small basement we can't wait to rock it out.
Also, our much loved bass player returns from adventures OS that morning so it's gonna be a great day! We are gonna have some special giveaways too so make sure you don't miss it!
If you missed the show on Saturday night, or just wanna re-live it, check out the pics on FasterLouder here
Coming up in a couple weeks we are gonna be heading back to our roots and playing a show in our old stomping ground Reynella. Make sure you get along and support local acts.
